ShopCon Terms of Service & Media Release
By purchasing a ticket to ShopCon, you agree to the following terms:
1. Event Admission & Conduct
Your ticket grants you admission to ShopCon for the dates and events specified at the time of purchase. All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward other attendees, speakers, sponsors, venue staff, and event personnel.
ShopCon reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee without refund for behavior deemed disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or in violation of event policies.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Tickets may not be transferred without prior written approval from the ShopCon team.
If the event must be rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, your ticket will be transferred to the new event date.
3. Assumption of Risk
By attending ShopCon, you acknowledge that participation in live events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to travel-related risks, public health risks, and personal injury risks. You voluntarily assume all such risks associated with attendance.
4. Media Release & Use of Likeness
ShopCon is a live, professionally recorded event.
By attending, you acknowledge and agree that:
-
Photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and live-stream footage may be captured throughout the event.
-
Your image, likeness, voice, name, and/or participation may appear in these recordings.
-
ShopCon (including its parent company and affiliated brands) may use this content in perpetuity for marketing, promotional, educational, advertising, social media, website, email, and future event materials.
-
You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content.
-
You understand that you will not receive compensation for the use of such media.
If you prefer not to be featured prominently in media, you may notify event staff upon arrival; however, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion due to the nature of live event filming.
